Personality disorder:

                                     Personality, as defined psychologically, is the set of enduring behavioral    and mental traits that distinguish between individual humans. Hence personality disorders are defined defined by experiences and behaviors that differ from social norms and expectations. Those diagnosed with personality disorder may experience difficulties in cognitive, emotional, interpersonal functioning or impulse control.
  A personality disorder (PD) is a type of mental disorder in which person has a rigid and unhealthy pattern of thinking, functioning and behaving. A person with a personality disorder has trouble perceiving and relating to situations and people. This causes significant problems and limitations in relationships, social activities, work and school. 
  In some cases, person may not realize that he has personality disorder because his way of thinking and behaving may seem natural to him. And he may blame others for the challenges that he faces. 
  
Personality disorder usually begin in the teenage years or early adulthood. There are many types pf personality disorders. Some types may become less obvious throughout middle age.
